ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) -- No kicker, no problem for the Philadelphia Eagles.
Carson Wentz threw for two touchdowns and three 2-point conversions after Philadelphia lost kicker Jake Elliott to a head injury, and the Eagles all but wrapped up the NFC East with a 37-9 victory over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night.

Good first half for Dallas (leading 9-7 at the break). Total disaster in the second half.

    Denver Broncos...

The Broncos are in the midst of an ugly six-game losing streak, and now the first head has rolled.

Offensive coordinator Mike McCoy was fired this morning, and quarterbacks coach Bill Musgrave was promoted to take his place, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

The Broncos’ offense has struggled all season, first with Trevor Siemian at quarterback and then with Brock Osweiler after Siemian was benched. The next move may be benching Osweiler in favor of Paxton Lynch.

McCoy was in the first season of his second stint as the Broncos’ offensive coordinator. He was previously the Broncos’ offensive coordinator from 2009 to 2012, and that got him the head-coaching job in San Diego, where he coached the Chargers for the last four years.

Musgrave is also in his first season with the Broncos’ staff, having spent the last two years as the Raiders’ offensive coordinator.

It’s rare for a team to make a major change to its coaching staff at this time of year, but the Broncos need to change something. Head coach Vance Joseph’s first season in Denver is not going as planned. (PFT)

great EAGLES WIN! Come on NFC East Title ! Eagles were rumored to cut their kicker anyways as their real kicker is healthy again. and RIP T. Glenn.

Forget rumours. Doug just said that Jake is the guy if healthy. Look for the Eagles to roster 2 kickers for the rest of the season since their punter isn't a reliable backup. It may be a waste of a roster spot but it is more important than an extra whatever else right now.

Exactly. Division is sewn up - you're playing for the #1 seed and home field throughout now. You didn't need him last night, but you don't want to be in a position of playing the Rams or Seahawks and being down 24-23, having the ball on their 25 yard line, and not being able to kick a FG.

The Cardinals are moving on from running back Andre Ellington.

Ellington, who was inactive on Sunday, has been released today.

Once a promising playmaker, Ellington has largely been phased out of the Cardinals’ offense. Adrian Peterson is the starter in Arizona’s backfield, Kerwynn Williams is behind Peterson on the depth chart and D.J. Foster has been getting more playing time of late.

Falcons hold on for 34-31 victory over Seahawks

They — whoever they is — say that football is a game of inches. “They” on Monday could be Seahawks kicker Blair Walsh.

Walsh’s game-tying field-goal attempt with seven seconds left fell just short of the crossbar. Instead of celebrating a 52-yard field goal to send the game into overtime, the Seahawks were left to ponder “what if.”

Walsh’s miss allowed Atlanta to hang on for a 34-31 victory in one of the most entertaining games of the season. (PFT)

    NFC Playoff picture before Thanksgiving...

    LEADERS
    1. Eagles (9-1): The class of the conference.

    2. Vikings (8-2): The Vikings have a two-game lead over the NFC North now, but if they lose on Thanksgiving the lead would drop to one, and the Lions would have the tiebreaker.

    3. Saints (8-2): Surging ahead in the NFC South with an eight-game winning streak.

    4. Rams (7-3): The loss to the Vikings may end up costing the Rams a bye week.

    5. Panthers (7-3): The Panthers have a game lead over the rest of the wild card field.

    6. Falcons (6-4): Atlanta owns the head-to-head tiebreaker over both the other 6-4 teams, the Lions and Seahawks.

    OUTSIDE LOOKING IN
    7. Lions (6-4): Golden Tate‘s overturned touchdown on the last play of the Lions’ loss to the Falcons is looking costly right now.

    8. Seahawks (6-4): Injuries are taking a toll on Seattle’s playoff hopes.

    9. (Packers (5-5): Without Aaron Rodgers it’s hard to imagine they make a playoff run.

    10. Cowboys (5-5): The injury to left tackle Tyron Smith has been devastating.

    11. Washington (4-6): Kirk Cousins is playing well, but injuries are taking their toll on the rest of the roster.

    12. Cardinals (4-6): Just playing out the string, with Blaine Gabbert under center.

    13. Buccaneers (4-6): Maybe the NFC’s most disappointing team.

    14. Bears (3-7): Chicago has no hope.

    15. Giants (2-8): Sunday’s upset of the Chiefs doesn’t change the fact that the Giants are going nowhere.

    16. 49ers (1-9): Still have a chance of passing the Browns for the first pick in the draft.

It was KGH or Elandon Roberts. I think you probably prefer Roberts anyways.

Lol I just meant the Iggs should let him try more than kickoffs.

I already said earlier that they honestly should unless they want him gunning. He is a more reliable tackler than a kicker and more expendable if something were to happen.

    Seattle Seahawks...

Dwight Freeney, the longtime defensive end with a Hall of Fame resume, may have hit the end of the road.

Freeney was cut by the Seahawks today.

The 37-year-old Freeney had three sacks in four games this season, but at this point he’s just a situational pass rusher, and the Seahawks apparently want to devote roster space to players who contribute more.

Freeney will go on waivers, so any team that wants him can pick him up tomorrow. But it’s also possible that this is the end. Freeney was a seven-time Pro Bowler in his 11 years with the Colts. He has also played for the Chargers, Cardinals and Falcons.

I will be mildly shocked if the Lions or Patriots don't claim him.
