Mayfield has some growing up to do but this still is not another Johnny Manziel. In my mind this doesn't hurt his draft stock much at all. It just indicates that he would need to sit and learn in a strong locker room for psychological purposes. I suspect he'll be capable of leading an NFL offense based on ability alone almost immediately (Manziel wasn't, which I thought was obvious). This just means he would do better in certain situations than others IMO.
After further review . . . I would like to revise my plan. There is no need to let Kizer and whoever we draft as a QB in the 1st round to duke it out for the QB2 slot. It wouldn't be a fair fight. He is not salvagable.
I liked Peterman (he was my QB No. 4 last season) but I don’t think he’s anywhere near ready to play. Said at the time he was a project.

There is no way to overcome the horrific play of DeCon Shizer.... He's the worst QB we've ever had....That statement speaks for itself. I've never seen a QB that systematically sabotages his own team every quarter...It's unbelievable how fucking terrible he is.
