Sabres vs Wings

My brother was at Brad May's charity hockey tournament today. He was the bench boss for his friend's team and they had Grant Ledyard on their team. He also got photos with Tomas Kaberle and Wendell Clark who played on other teams. I was supposed to go originally. I would have chirped Grant on the bench and the other ex players from it. This was the first year that Brad May didn't go 1st overall and I think it's obvious why. Screw respect when you can get Kaberle or Clark on your team. lol.

 

I wonder if Kaberle still lives it TO, I think he married a local girl and stayed here. He was a 7th round pick, I'm pretty sure.

 

Kaberle was drafted 204th in the eighth round of the 1996 NHL Entry Draft according to Wiki... not sure where he lives. Currently he's playing with Czech club HC Kladno... so maybe he lives there, I don't know.

I remember him well, he was a great Leaf. He is currently the second-highest scoring defenceman in Maple Leafs franchise history, behind only Borje Salming.
