I got that stat from a sportsnet article, fake news!
The same article had duchene leading in every corsi stat, also they had the ducher ranked #41st best C, and Turris #57th.

 

The sentiment is that Turris was not going to stay in Ottawa. He wasn't going to get a deal he wanted or he just wants to go somewhere else.

My daughter is getting a table top rod hockey set for Christmas this year. It's a done deal.

I just need to decide which one I'm getting her. I've been scouring the interwebs and cursing through my teeth at my options.

All I can say is that unless she has a favourite team, the classic Habs vs Leafs opponents looking at least close to realistic is awesome.

That will be an excellent gift! The price range will help dictate what you get, in my opinion. You can spend $40 to $1500 on those things. I had the small lower end cost board for the little ones in my family, and they had lots of fun with that and the teams didn't matter. Nothing compared to the mid-level sized one in the $100+ category for the older kids in the 10 to 16 yr range.

The most realistic looking players is always a must, but I found the biggest thrill for the kids was just Uncle Willie playing with them!

I had one as a kid and we beat the ever-loving-shit out of that thing and it just wouldn't break. I tried to find that exact one but the company went out of business.

We used Pledge polish in a spray can to wax up the surface and the pucks. You could rifle shots so hard that they would leave dime size bruises on your nemesis, lol.
