Is it time to look at coaching candidates and big time changes in Miami?

They are a mess and I don't know how they have the record they do. They really need some changes or a miracle or both.

 

Falcons broken?

 

That was actually a hard test for the Falcons on the road and in bad weather... they did good. Maybe they arnt quite broken and will rip off a long winning streak. Guess I expected a better start for them.

 

i actually wanted Gase in Philly. Glad he chose Miami-what a mess.

 

Ha. Same. I had Gase and Pederson neck an neck for who I wanted as our new coach.

 

but yesterday showed why I am still leery of Pederson as coach. kept running the ball for no gains in the second quarter. only when they passed did they move the chains.

 

They were trying to protect Wentz since he was getting sacked without Peters. They didn't need an A game to beat San Fran.

 

What about keeping the defenses honest?

What about establishing the ground game in order to open up the passing game?

Cant put all your eggs in one basket and Pederson did well in mixing it up... Blount has had the hot-hand too.

 

^^ they went 3 and out 3 straight times in the quarter? they weren't doing anything. wentz didn't connect with receivers and he was sacked a few times as well. blount was stuffed a few times too. that int for TD turned the momentum and game around on SF.

And yes Joe, they needed a C game to beat SF, not an A game. that's how bad they are. haha

 

Blount has actually been cold for 2 weeks actually. But yes you can't just throw it every play.

im not saying that. they didn't throw at all in the 2nd quarter. it was run, run, run and punt, punt, punt!

at 7-1 im still not convinced this team can win the Super Bowl or even get to that game under Pederson. Something about him just worries me. Scares me even. It's like when in Star Wars Ep 4: A New Hope - Darth Vader says "I feel something, something I haven't felt since...

that's what i feel like. like the wheels are going to come off vs denver, dallas, seattle, maybe LA, dallas again and oakland.

7-1 seems too good to be true. i hope and pray it is.

 

on a INT for TD was the big one. And Will they scored those points in what 55 seconds combined. It looked like Chip Kelly's play book of run, run, run for no gain and punt. Thank God SF stinks bc at 3-0 i was worried this was a trap game.

lol... you worry too much. 7-1 and your concerned? Relax... enjoy the ride while you have it. You must admit they have exceeded preseason expectations. The East was supposed to be a dog-fight... looks more like a lop-sided no-competition for the Eagles Division, lol.

 

they haven't played dallas yet. that could be 1 or 2 losses right there. if they lose to denver, dallas and seattle that's 12-4. lost to dallas twice and LA and it's 10-6. and it's philly - of course we worry. wheels seem to come off when you least expect it.

 

rumors are swirling Calvin Johnson is on a plane to Philly today and a trade with Detroit could be possible. I'm not buying that nonsense as he's owed like $16 mil still. However Johnson to Philly makes them and Wentz even more dangerous as they are already 7-1 this year. I would do it in 2 seconds if possible. The more weapons the better.

 

Don't bet on it being something great if he did go to Philadelphia. He may not be able to get back into his game the same way he use to.

 

If you were undecided, this game is all the proof you need that Siemian can't play on a below average team. He doesn't have his head in the game. Time to see what they have in Paxton Lynch. He could be healthy by next week.
