I just took a little time looking at the numbers. LV has a poor Corsi 5v5, the highest shooting percentage in the league and the 2nd highest save percentage. Those numbers almost always even out to 100 over the course of the season, right now they’re 1st in the league right near 107.
They’ve already played 7 of their games at home and 12 of their next 16 are on the road.
While they’re a fun story I think it’s inevitable that water will find it’s level.

 

This is guaranteed, the corsi numbers and high shooting percentage, they'll hit a wall soon.

Even still, I see proven talent here, and something to be said about 8-1. I'm still calling for an 8th seed. I think some real good talent was exposed in the draft due to many different factors.

 

skinny-your leafs didn't win Saturday night, but like Dan's SAbres, they sure are very talented and fast on offense. you guys are a few pieces away from making a huge dent in the league.

 

I think these kids were out partying too much during this homestand.

 

Saturday night there was a lot of people dressed up for halloween parties, everybody was partying. There was this one guy dressed up as a plastic mustard bottle drunk out his mind, he couldn't even walk. There were these two brits standing around this guy, he hears the accent, he slurs, "my last name is is Mclenen, where do I come from?" You're irish, get yourself a cab before you get hurt."
I tried hailing a cab for this guy and get him home, he didn't even know the address, sorry buddy, can't help, get yourself home before you get run over, damn mustard.
