Marcell Darius is off to the Jags. The Bills have been the NFL's Jag-offs for nearly two decades. The new coaches look good. Real good, actually. If the new GM does as well as the coaches with the bounty of 2018 picks then this team may become relevant again.
Wow! Darius nets a 6th! Sure he's overpaid. Sure he's not a great fit in the Bills D. Yeah, Marcell had a skein of disturbing-to-stupid off field incidents. Still, I expected more than a 6th for the player drafted just after Cam Newton and Von Miller.
Despite personal fouls, Ndamukong Suh won’t be suspended... Vontaze Burfict fined only $12,154 for kicking Roosevelt Nix... K.J. Wright fined $9,115 for facemask... Keenan Robinson fined $18,231 for roughing the passer... NFL has not decided whether to suspend Kiko Alonso...
Kiki Alonso's hit was extremely aggressive and was reckless, but I really doubt there was any intent to injure. Flacco slide after Alonso already committed to the hit. It sure looks bad when a QB's hat comes off, and Joe looked dazed. In the end I think he'll be given a stiff penalty, but may escape a suspension.
The hit was late. Pause the gif (LAOJoe's post in another thread) at 05 seconds. Flacco is already nearly on the ground and Alonso is still standing. A split second later, Flacco's ass is on the ground, and Alonso still has not hit him (but is nearly there). He had time to hurdle the qb, but went for the kill instead. Suspension/fine worthy hit, no doubt. I can't stand Flacco, but I won't let that deter my own eyes and logic when it comes to this type of play.
To bad the game isnt played at stop the gif speeed its played at full speed flacco slid late had he slide when he should of Alonso sails over him
Patriots hold on to beat Chargers 21-13 Eagles roll to 7-1 by beating 49ers 33-10 Saints keep the streak going, beat Bears Bengals use pick-six for 24-23 win over Colts... Vikings dump the Browns, 33-16... Falcons over Jets, 25-20... Panthers beat the Buccaneers, 17-3
His weight and commitment is already going forward. Honestly the beef he is getting for the forearm would have been a helmet to helmet if he was dirty.
I'm reading reports that Zach Miller might lose his leg. https://www.yahoo.com/news/doctors-...ars-te-zach-millers-leg-injury-133453600.html
i said years ago for all the praying together when a player gets hurt of after a NFL game, the NFL is not the brotherhood is makes out to be. those players are out for blood. they would blindside an opponents Mother if they could. they don't care about the welfare or health of an opposing player. the alonso hit is proof of that. flacco was down and a Alonso still went after his head high. he didn't just put 2 hands on him to make sure he was down. nope. he went flying in and hit his head and shoulder. no need for that.
Not so fun fact: Bill Belichick's first playoff win as a head coach was Cleveland's last playoff win.
Texans trade Duane Brown to Seattle. Jeremy Lane is apparently headed to Houston as part of the deal. A 3rd round pick is expected to go Houston's way as well.
