We'll find out this afternoon who gets the start Sunday, but my money is on DeShone Kizer. Cody Kessler is too good and gives us the best chance to win. Can't have that.
Hue is clueless...the kid isnt very good, but he will be playing so scared to make a mistake...now a banged up OL...I see Minny DL w 6 sacks
North Carolina without Mitchell Trubisky: 1-7 Notre Dame without DeShone Kizer: 6-1, ranked 9th in AP Poll
FWIW, Hue was adamant that you can't play if you turn the ball over. So I think it's safe to assume we'll have a Kessler sighting in London. My guess is, he'll be in before halftime...I predict 2 interceptions for Harrison Smith. Looks like the Browns are going to tie Detroit's record. Looking at the schedule, I don't see reason for optimism. Ravens are terrible, but does anyone think Cleveland can beat them? If the finale in Pittsburgh is meaningless for the Steelers, that game could be a possibility. Although, it was that exact scenario last year, and they just beat us with their reserve players...As long as Hue is making all the decisions, I see NO HOPE for a Browns victory this season...
Im saying no picks cause he will be so scared to throw the ball he will just take sacks...Minny can pressure the QB w Hunter, Joseph and Griffen and then their fast LBs
Starting to think the constant benching, sitting, replacing, etc. with DeShone Kizer is just to make sure his record-setting pace of throwing interceptions doesn't actually come to fruition. If Kizer wasn't pulled, he'd be on track for 39 interceptions. The record in a season is 34 (Daryle Lamonica, 1969). 16 games w/out missing snaps: 324 completions, 624 attempts (52.0%), 3,370 yards (5.4 YPA), 11 TD, 39 INT, 47.7 rating Sixth-worst season in NFL history. #LightsOut #OkayMaybeThisTimeItWasTheTalent #BlowIt4Baker
When will this thing bottom out? Every time I think that things just couldn't get any worse, this team surprises with more bad fortune...In case ya haven't heard. Myles Garrett is now in concussion protocol and likely to miss the game Sunday...smh
Fun Fact!! LaDainian Tomlinson threw as many TD passes in 2005 as DeShone Kizer has this season. It took Tomlinson six games. Kizer's had seven.
I heard. Shut him down... it's not worth it. They are going to lose the game anyhow. Let him stay back and rest. Take this and the BYE and come back at full strength in Week 10.
Fun Fact!! Keith Byars, Andy Johnson, Marcus Allen, Willard Harrell, Walter Payton, Greg Pruitt, LaDainian Tomlinson, Tom Tupa, and Joe Webb all threw for three or more TD passes in a season - matching DeShone Kizer thus far.
Those damn lying stats again........(shakes balled up fist) Tomlinson played a full six games whereas Kizer has not...... Apples and oranges.........
Not to mention under-ranked because they had to climb a rankings hill since they were perceived to be bad early on and Georgia wasn't known to be this good yet.
The players have certainly given us a show this year. Time to recognize (through the magic of film) some "behind the scenes" folks that help make this Cleveland Browns organization what it is. Such as: The equipment manager: The team designated driver. No late night bar worries when this guy is on hand to get em home safe: The team photographer; Yoga and ballet are big in sports these days. Here's our instructor, and her assistant, just doin their thing: The team nutritionist: and of course, the team travel coordinator; GO BROWNS!!!
