    THE GOOD:
AB with 10 catches for 157 yards
    C Boswell was 3/3 FG
The Steelers pass defense had 2 QB sacks and 1 INT
The Steelers offensive line gave up only 2 QB sacks.
The Steelers were in the game in the first half.
Blake Bortles didn't have very good stats - including 1 INT

    THE BAD:
    No Steeler TDs
This is a conference loss but not a division loss
    The Bengals won
The Ravens are winning versus Oakland

    THE UGLY:
Ben Roethlisberger set a personal worst with 0 TD and 5 INT
Leonard Fournette rushed for 181 yards and 2 TDs
Chris Ivory had over 5 yard rushing average

I'm almost out of words at this point. This team has no future if Ben is under center. It's not going to be a fun year.

    UGLY:

Our awesome franchise QB, his radio show, and his warped perception of leadership need to get the hell out of Pittsburgh. This circus is more about celebrating 5 yard gains, mundane first-down catches, and routine tackles with stupid fucking dances than it is about winning football games.

The 3 best players on the team(Ben, Bell and Brown) are worried bout stats and $.....this team has all the talent in the world but when you play individual ball in a team sport this is what happens...oh and your QB wasnt even sure he wanted to play football anymore...where is his mindset right now

1st and goal at the 4 and they call 3 passing plays in a row with Ben in the shotgun. Horrible play calling, that's not Ben's fault.

To start the 4th quarter the defense has Jacksonville at their own 2. They run the ball 12 times in a row no passes and get into FG range. That's not Ben's fault either.

Not disagreeing with what u guys are saying about Ben but it's more than him holding the team back. Some of it goes on the coaching. The talent is there but the team is not wired right. Tomlin and the staff better get it fixed and quick.

Back to Ben, he looks mentally done, he probably should have retired after last season. I heard he stated "maybe I just don't have it anymore" at his post game conference.

I would have liked to see Tomlin go with Landry Jones after Jacksonville made it 23-9 with a little less than 7 min left. But again his stubborn coaching theatrics get in the way and he stuck with Ben.

    Thoughts? Please advise.

I said the same thing, AJM. Haley is not good.

BEN IS ABYSMAL though. Sounds like he wants to go out before he sucks for last few years like Bradshaw.

Demolisher / Showstopper - your posts above indicate why I call the NFL the NBA now.

    The Good
I didn’t watch one play of this game. That’s a First for me in about 15 consecutive years worth of games. I thank the protests, the greedy owners, the selfish players, the horrible officiating, and the general circus that is today’s NFL for driving me to that....I would have never let a birthday party get in the way of watching in past. At very least I would’ve watched it on my iPhone via Sunday ticket but

    #NotWorthItAnymore

    The Bad
Big Bonehead and his OC. Ben never allowed to run the muddle and create and that was usually when he was at his best. He’d prob suck now at that too though.

Ben sucked. He's sucked all season. I really hoped he'd turn it around. Today's performance crushes any hope that Ben might turn it around. After the game he said he's not sure if he's got it anymore. If he feels that way then it's time to hang it up.

Two times in 3 weeks the Steelers have given up over 200 yards rushing to an opponent. Steelers pass defense is going to look really good statistically but the truth is the scheme sucks. Middle of the field is wide open for anybody with a decent QB to exploit.

2 Times coach Tomlin threw the challenge flag. Both challenges were really stupid. Not even questionable calls by the referees.

I just watched the low lights of Big Bonehead and my gosh, who the heck was he throwing too, the other team? One maybe two tips but man the other picks he was throwing right to the other team so badly that it looked intentional. Is it really possible to stink this much? Curious.

The coaching isn't perfect but if Aaron Rodgers were this team's QB we'd be 5-0 right now. Ben has almost full control of what happens on the field. He can audible to a different play any time he wants. And let's be honest - if Todd Haley were this team's primary disciplinarian there'd be a lot less acting like fools and idiots on the field.

Mike Tomlin has to show what kind of a coach he really is, and that won't happen until Ben goes away. He's had over a decade's worth of training with a QB who used to be among the NFL's best - one that he didn't pick. With a melodramatic piss ant taking snaps from under center who's been with the team longer than Tomlin has, Tomlin hasn't been able to fully stretch his wings and show why he's worth the honor of being a Steelers head coach. Not that I think Tomlin will magically transform into the best head coach in the NFL, but I think he deserves a shot to try and lead this team without Ben. Thus, I'm not in favor of shaking up the coaching staff in any significant way.

At the moment, however, Tomlin has failed to develop the young men Colbert has given him and help them mature into adults and veteran players. All the talent in the world combined with the mental faculties of teenagers and Tomlin lets them run around like fools, celebrating every insignificant thing they do like they graduated from the 4th grade to the 5th grade. Ben is clearly a leadership tumor, however. Who really thinks this team would look stupid if a guy with Tom Brady's intangibles was the QB? Even with Tomlin on the sideline? I don't think they would.

I don't think the scheme is the issue. Ryan Shazier is the king of splash plays as a linebacker but he doesn't play sound football all the time. Nor should he be asked to. The fact is Vince Williams is being exposed every time the other team breaks a massive run. Williams should be Shazier's Ryan Clark, but while he can get his head in the pile he's always had issues with positioning. He doesn't have a good football IQ and never has. At this point I'd rather see Tyler Matakevitch out there instead. He can't be any worse and wouldn't be caught out of position very often.

23 TDs to 20 INTs the last 17 games, only two 300 yard passing games, both in losses.

some good criticisms of Tomlin by Demo imo.

Beloved one, GB hasn't given up 200 + yards rushing in last 2 of 3 games. I think they're still 3-2 with Rodgers maybe 4-1. In Chicago besides the run defense, the blocked FG and other ST mishaps contributed to the loss where it may have not mattered who played QB. I agree this team isn't going anywhere with Bad big dummy Ben, but still holding out hope that Good big dummy Ben emerges because they are not going anywhere with Jones or Dobbs either.

Rodgers would allow this offense to score faster and restrict the other team from being able to run it as much. We'd have scored 30 at least once and scored a TD in the opening quarter, as every team in the NFL has done except for ours. I wish there was a way for me to bet on that because Ben is so blind that he can't read the simplest of NFL defenses apparently. Rodgers certainly wouldn't have thrown 5 INTs today while being sacked only twice. Since the Jaguars didn't score at all in the first quarter we might have been able to do what I said we should do - bury them by scoring quickly and forcing them to rely on Bortles. If you really think either of our losses wasn't mostly on Ben and irreversible with good QB play then you're severely underrating his intrinsic value to the team.

If we're doing G,B and U I'll just say it was all ugly and be done with it. Still, I thought the D was good most of the day. The first 20 points for the Jags were from INTs. Two TDs directly so.

Here's my biggest problem. The Steelers are up 9-7 with the ball against a very good pass defense and the league's worst run defense. So what do they do? They pass. Bell had what? 15 carries. That's not acceptable. They need to stick with something that they know will work. They quit on the run too early.

Ben's post game comments really make me sad for this team because it's obvious he has quit on them. I watched the Packer's game after this one and I can't believe the difference in passion and joy between Rodgers and Big Ben. It's a disservice to come back if your heart isn't in it. I hope he finds his fire because they'll need it in KC.

Heck if Alex Smith were our QB right now we'd be 5-0. I could probably name 10-12 others that I believe would give is a better chance to win then Ben at this point.
