Can't say enough about Jordan Howard...what an effort he gave. Amazing game with a bad shoulder. Exited the game twice but ran for well over 100 yards and 2 touchdowns including the winner. And he did a good job in pass catching too.

Tarik Cohen is a far better weapon when Howard is running effectively...especially if you put them both on the field at the same time.

Kyle Long was awesome in his return. He dominated and made a huge impact.

Good job by the defense. Still need a better pass rush but I though Kyle fuller played well. Overall a nice job by Fangio's unit.

Leonard Floyd wasn't good. He is being used in coverage a lot but needs to make an impact rushing the passer...it's what he was drafted to do.

Playcalling was abysmal on offense, imo.

Glennon was awful. The entire offense is crippled because of the things he can't do.

This team could be average to slightly better than average with adequate QB play.

It must suck to a receiver and know if you run past the first down marker you have about a 5% chance of having the ball thrown your way.

Why does Marcus Cooper still have a job?

Why the hell were the Bears wearing dark jerseys?

If the plan isn't to get Trubisky ready to play week 5.....then Fox can go fuck himself.

    To add on:

Other than the boneheaed play by Cooper (cut worthy) on ST's, he actually ha a really good game on defense. Stood out to me. Think he had at least 2 PD's, but maybe 3.

Glennon threw to a check down 13 times. That's 13 out of 18 pass attempts. I am wiling to bet good money on the fact that on more than half of those check downs, he had open receivers.

On the 4 non-checkdowns, one was intercepted, one should have been intercepted (last last drive of regulation), one was ridiculously uncatchable and one was caught by Sheehan on a busted D for a TD.

The Bears Blitzed just 6 times all game. I suppose that dropping back 7 into coverage was the game plan. But, I don't think that'll work this week against the Packers.

It will be good if we get Sitton back this week, but my guess is it's not likely. Sowell did decent for him in replacement.

With a short week and Cunningham healthy, why the fuck did w beat the hell out of Howard? I'd be surprised if he plays Thursday.

    One more:

i wonder what the game would have looked like had Roethlisberger connected on a wide open bomb on first play of game.

Agree with Cooper playing well on D. I actually thought the entire secondary....minus that first play....played well.

At least they were collectively far better than I thought they could be.

It's a Thursday night game against the Packers.

I fully expect the Bears to get thumped.

I was able to watch bites and pieces of the game thought for sure that Coppers blunder would cost them the game ( nice false start Leno , great timing ) but the D found a way .

I watched the highlights of other games afterwards and see all of these young QB's playing , Kizer & Watson , Mariota hell even Brissett is playing AND our guy is sitting behind a back up QB at best .... there is no reason for Glennon to play past the next game , to believe he will be the reason they win is a pipe dream , yet if they do pull another Lambeau miracle I am sure Fox will " stick with his guy "

    They interviewed Kyle Long today.....

He said he has "enough juice to go around" now that he's back in the huddle.

Either he's roiding up himself and teammates to stay on the field or doesn't respect Mike Glennon. My hunch is that he's probably not the only one.

Well done BWW, not much to add to that.

I wouldn't have cut Cooper but wouldn't have played him in the second half. I also agree that he played well but that bullshit he pulled shouldn't be tolerated and a message should have been sent. His explanation was even dumber, just be a man and admit you were trying to be a cocky, look at me, selfish asshole and it bit you in the ass. I would respect you more than saying that than you thought you were in the endzone, that just makes us think that you believe the rest of us are as dumb as you.

No idea what the hell Fox/Loggains are trying to do on offense. Howard and Cohen were beasts but not throwing the ball is not going to win you many games.

This bullshit we are being fed that Trubisky is not ready is well, bullshit. How is he ready to be a backup then? Why is Sanchez not dressing? You don't want to start him but throwing him in a game when Glennon gets hurt is ok with you? I guess any retard can run this offense, all you have to do is handoff the ball and checkdown every time.
