That stinks I didn't see it but trust you


Regardless our defense appears to be laying down for the oh so exciting Bears upset and storyline about Steelers not coming out of lockerroom

 

Run defense couldn't hold... so many missed tackles all game but it's the offense that has been stinking t up! Next week is going to be big!

 

I could totally tell this game was a fix.


Ben didn't even seem into it and especially not in the huddle at mid field for coin toss for OT - he looked and acted completely disinterested like the game result was already decided.


And no way ....our defense lays down against QB who sucks and all they have to do is stop run but leave the middle wide open to run free for half field on 3 consecutive plays in OT.

I was born at night but not last night


The Steelers have been chosen to play role of villains in thiS increasingly unwatchable realty tv show version of football. Patriots of course are still the superhero.

 

Don't blame the defense guys..........(short handed by the way by a number of good players). They were gassed at the end of the game. Never should have gone back on the field the last 5 minutes. Instead they had to take the field THREE TIMES including OT.

That loss is all on Ben guys. HE'S THE ONE that has to step up in games like this. When your special teams are letting you down, when your run game isn't going great...when your team is continuing to take penalties. You can't simply throw away possessions to ANY TEAM IN THE NFL.....especially on the road. You have to keep the ball, move the sticks, and finish drives. You have to take what's given to you most of the time.

Mike Glennon...........2-0 vs our Steelers. In 2014 Tampa won TWO GAMES that year. Anyone wanna bet Chicago doesn't win more than 4?? Pathetic Ben.

 

These are precisely the type of games that can cost you division titles, or cost you seeding come playoff time. Its precisely why you end up not HOSTING conference championships or divisional round games. Today wasn't Tomlin guys, it was our $20+ million dollar QB, who has played HORRIBLE a majority of this year thus far. He's turned it over every single game at least once, and he isn't getting it done on 3rd down. This offense IS NOT GOING TO IMPROVE until he does.

 

Ben is the biggest culprit in our throwing of games. I believe he throws games. I believe all the star QBs are called upon by the NFL to throw them at times. Either that or he is the dumbest QB over the past 5 years or so , ORjust over and over again some games gets his jollies not throwing to wide open receivers all the time

 

I think the play that really hurt was after the pick and Ben throws to Bell who then tips it in the air. Bell was so wide open he at least gets a first down and more. They had to settle for a FG and that was the game. Could've been 21-17 Steelerst at that point.

 

Plus it's another quick turnaround for the defense.

 

Can i get a hold?

 

Turned it off when they didn't come out for the national anthem. Turned the NFL off today. NFL rating have been down the first two weeks of this season. These guys aren't getting it! Keep it up and watch the fans turn their backs.

 

I knew the first Steelers loss will bring back the firing hashtags lol

 

The NFL is committing suicide. Tons more people are going to stop watching for good.

Well my soon to be in college daughter has assured me I have to at least keep watching the steelers games with her because we have too much fun eating food and joking during games and going to our annual game at Heinz (I have ditched watching other NFL games cuz product is so bad these days). Thats pretty much all I am in it for these days - family bonding. I honestly don't take any of it seriously anymore .... clearly so bogus on so many levels and now just the political crap which is bogus too - so dumb man haha.

 

The NFL is responding to a divisive "leader" or carnival barker who speaks down to solid leaders in our communities out of ignorance. Great applause line though

 

I normally don't mind Collinsworth, but he's been terrible in his commentary this season. I guess he saw how Phil Simms isn't broadcasting from the commentary booth anymore and thought the Throne of Awful Color Commentators needed a new ass to kiss

 

Mex - the officials had so many bad calls and no calls today.

 

The NFL and owners are going to realize that the people who typically ignore and avoid divisive programs and entertainment are now going to avoid watching the NFL! I'm through with it until they end these demonstrations and divisive actions!
