Well after the initial report we knew this was coming looks like he's out for season as well so on to the 3rd string MLB which is who ????????

Christian Jones. Yeah, you read that right, folks. Christian Jones is going to be starting at MLB for us, and he'll be backed up by whoever we decide to sign off the practice squad or the street. I mean, I wasn't any fan of Kwiatkowski at MLB, either, but at least you hoped to see some development in him. Christian Jones is what he is - and that's sub-par.

What is with these injuries, man? I mean, seriously?

Yea injuries have been out of control for lat 2 years at a min , easy to say next man up and perhaps get some positive results but 3rd stringers playing are not just a good situation at all.

Jones is not the answer but it's all they got it looks like , middle could be wide open if the RB's get thru the front 4 for sure.

I actually like Jones. He hits hard.

Jones has had a couple years to develop. This is his shot. If he blows it, A--its a down year, so he's gone anyways and B--Isaiah Irving gets a shot to show if he's got anything in this league.

"Finally know a guy sucks" - where we're at in expectations.

It's being reported now that he may not be out for the season and only miss a few weeks.

Hitting hard is only good when you routinely put yourself in the right position. Jones has no idea where his gap is on most plays.

I guess a sub-par ILB who's only in his second year is better than a sub-par ILB who's in, what, his fourth year?

I really don't think Kwiatkowski is sub par.

He tends to be around the ball a lot and is a good tackler and hard hitter.

Before he went out of the game Sunday he was in on 4 or 5 plays on the first drive. He probably isn't ideal size wise or the best athlete on the field but I will take a guy that knows how to position himself and makes good reads over a great athlete that is always out of position every day of the week.

Bostic was a good athlete and could hit hard with the best of them, except he had trouble finding the best of them to actually hit.

This sums it up for me.

Unlike Bostic and plenty of other draft picks/rookies Kwaitkowski has shown growth with live game reps. Film study or coaching or both, he seems to be soaking it in. I’m not anointing him. But I like the progress.

I wouldn't say Kwaitkowski is sub-par, I think he is suited to be an excellent special teams player and a solid backup MLB. I wouldn't want to rely on him long term as a starter but filling in for a few weeks or as a sub during the games is his best role. Solid depth player. I like him better than Jones, I hope Kwaitkowski is able to come back and play, could get some valuable experience this year in a lost season

Like the sound of him coming back soon perhaps , that being said it will be just important that he can stay on the field after making a return.

Christian Jones isn't the worst 3rd string MLB in the league most likely. But yeah, hes still a 3rd stringer This sucks
