This will be the first ever Live 4 Sport Network Referral Contest! The best way to get more meaningful and quality discussions on your forums is to invite in people that you're discussing sports with elsewhere. You get to pick and choose who you would like to see become a member of your favorite community! The more your forums grow the more opportunities I have to build and add the options you want, making the time you spend here that much more enjoyable. And just to make this a little more interesting - there will be a cash prize at the end of this contest for both the referrer and the new members. The first, second and third place contestants will automatically get a cash prize but there will also be a drawing at the end for both the new members and the ones who made the successful invitations. The more invites and sign ups the more money I will put up towards both the top 3 contest winners and for the drawing at the end of the season. Referring is now easier than ever. Simply go into your account details (https://live4sportnetwork.com/forum/account/) and click on 'Invite Friends'. Fill out the email form and click 'Send Invitation'. That's all it takes to get involved in growing your community. If you have any questions or need any help getting started I'm a message away from getting you all the answers. Working together, let's see just how many new members we can bring into the forums in just one NFL regular season. Game on!
Tight end Greg Olsen told reporters that he broke his foot in the first half of Sunday's 9-3 win over the Buffalo Bills in Carolina. Originally expected to return to the game, Olsen was carted back onto the field to start the second half in a walking boot and crutches -- an ominous sign that foreshadowed the worst-case scenario. "I broke my foot. It's tough. It sucks," Olsen told reporters via the team's official site.
Cleveland fears wide receiver Corey Coleman broke a bone in his hand in an injury similar to one he suffered last season, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported. Coleman missed six weeks with a broken hand in 2016. The injury comes after Browns quarterback DeShone Kizer returned to the game against Baltimore in the third quarter after dealing with a migraine. Hue Jackson said Kizer was checked for a concussion and was cleared. Jackson says the migraine developed during the game. "I could just tell something was going on," Jackson said.
Antonio Gates has carved his name into the record books. The Chargers tight end caught his 112th career score on Sunday to break the record for most all-time touchdowns by a tight end, previously held by Chiefs and Falcons great Tony Gonzalez. The touchdown put the Bolts up 17-10 over the Miami Dolphins in Los Angeles' home opener. The Chargers eventually lost, 19-17. A three-time All-Pro, Gates now has 11,220 career receiving yards over 15 seasons in the league.
The most surprising score in that ^^^^^^ isn't Dallas' 17. Denver has a really good D. Its gotta be Denvers' 42!
Agreed...although tough to tell whether Denver's offense was that good, or Dallas' D was that putrid.
ask the great minded Doug Pederson that ? I pray they fire his ass soon. He's so outmatched. After he made a comment in his press conference, the Eagles post-game show went off on him as the comment he made was on him as a coach. He's a buffoon. Game was winnable too.
NFL’s motion to stay Ezekiel Elliott injunction denied The NFL filed a motion to stay the preliminary injunction of Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott‘s six-game suspension with United States District Court Judge Amos L. Mazzant last week and Mazzant issued his ruling on Monday. Mazzant denied the NFL’s motion, which means that the injunction remains in place and that Elliott is free to play barring an order reinstating the suspension from the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. The NFL has filed such a motion, something Mazzant noted in the decision handed down on Monday. “In its Emergency Motion in front of the Court, the NFL is complaining that the Court essentially issued a premature order by failing to wait for the arbitrator to issue his ruling and therefore, lacked subject matter jurisdiction. Oddly, the NFL is now seeking expedited relief from the Fifth Circuit without first waiting for the Court to rule on the identical issue. The irony is not lost on the Court.” Mazzant’s ruling also takes issue with the NFL’s argument that Elliott would not suffer irreparable harm if the suspension went into effect because he would recover any lost money if later court rulings found the suspension should be permanently enjoined. Mazzant writes that “it is well-recognized that Elliott will suffer injury if he has to serve an improper suspension while awaiting the resolution of the petition to vacate” and that the league has not shown any harm that will be done to it if the suspension is on hold while the legal process plays out.
Vic Beasley expected to miss a month with hamstring injury The Falcons moved to 2-0 with a win over the Packers on Sunday night, but it looks like their push for 3-0 and beyond will have to come without the help of linebacker Vic Beasley. Beasley left Sunday night’s game with a hamstring injury and Zach Klein of WSB in Atlanta reports that it has been diagnosed as a “slight tear” that will leave Beasley out for at least a month. Beasley doesn’t play every snap, but he led the league in sacks last season and he opened this season with a sack in each of the team’s first two games. That illustrates how big a hole he’d leave in the team’s pass rush in the coming weeks
http://www.10news.com/news/south-bay-restaurant-owner-hands-out-free-tacos-when-chargers-lose Lopez said he was a lifelong Chargers fan until the team moved. Now, he wants the team to go winless, despite what it may cost him.
The Falcons are currently using a heavy rotation to try to keep everyone's snap counts down. They had already lost Courtney Upshaw earlier in the game, and when Beasley went out they were down two men in that rotation. If you could tolerate Collinsworth and watch the broadcast, you could see how the linemen were tiring out once Beasley was out of the game. Recently signed linebacker Jordan Tripp was the only defensive front seven player who was not on the 46-man active list. The Falcons have no inactives hiding on the roster for them to turn to as quick replacements for either Beasley or Upshaw. So losing Beasley for a month really could be a problem. They might have to make a roster move just to add extra depth.
It was the main reason the Packers were able to mount the start of a comeback in the 4th. The pressure just wasn't the same and defenders were getting tired.
