FWIW, whenever I try to access the forums on my iphone, I keep getting redirected from the forums to some ad/spam site that either asks me to A) open it in the app store, or B) tries telling me I've won a free iphone and tries to redirect me somewhere. I have to completely close down my browser to get rid of them.
I'll need some information to see what the issue might be. What type of phone are you using and which browser?

Doesn't work. It doesn't even give an option to "unwatch". Worse yet, it only asks if you want to get emails when the thread is updated. I don't come to this site for politics. Yet, the majority of new posts on here deal with politics. I have better things to do than weed out post after post after post of people throwing insults back and forth.
I forgot to mention it after I read your post yesterday, but I'm already working on something for this. I gotta couple bugs to work out of it but it should be up and running for Sunday before kickoff.
The search results for the entire site came back clean. I contacted google and the other advert agency we work with and they both described issues with a similar ad type that they were working to clear out. What has been described to me is something attached within advertisements that embeds in the browser. I have had users in the past that have dealt with this same issue and it typically clears up on it's own. However, if it has not corrected itself withing a few days then I will need to walk you through the process of how to clear the issue out of Safari. I wish there was something I could do on my end to clear it up for you but unfortunately it's not.
really? the NFL threads seem political free thank God. besides the political threads, which i now avoid, i don't see politics on here.
The political threads are the ones I want to ignore! I avoid them, as well. I just would like to not have to spend time on here cleaning up my feed on that type of trash.
^^yeah no is off limits to those guys. insults, Mother badgering etc is on the table. everyone thinks they're right too on what they post. i got off months ago. those guys are just crazy.
On the top of the thread on the right hand side you will see 'ignore thread'. Click on that link and you can manage the thread and any other one that you have selected to ignore. You can also ignore an entire forum. Let me know if you have any issues.
Great work Tim! You'd think that most adults wouldn't have a problem with ignoring posts, posters, threads or boards but for those who can't ... this is the perfect option.
Its not a question of adult discipline. I normally access this site on a tablet. The relatively small screen (with even smaller fonts) combined with rather large fingers ends up with me hitting the wrong spot taking me to threads that contain nothing but trash. Now, when I call up new posts and hit the wrong target, I still end up on a thread that interests me.
