    Cobb would be close because I believe he's the only other player, besides the correct answer to this question, to win the TC with a single digit homerun total.

    Yes, pre-modern. And he is also the first TC winner...ever.

    It's Hugh Duffy...and I should have gotten that last week when the question was asked.

    Staying with the Triple Crown but switching to pitchers.....name the pitcher to win the Triple Crown and have the lowest ERA doing so?

    in the last 15 years 1 pitcher won the pitching triple crown with a era of 2.77 which is second highest ever. who is he ?

    anyone on my question ?? he was a super star for a AL team, won 2 Cy Youngs and tried to go the NL and was hurt even more. His bright career was toast.
