As I have read in certain articles this appears to be a win-win for both teams. I too am bummed about Justin Verlander's departure . It means the tigers are in rebuilding mode. On the flipside I would like to see Justin Verlander win a world series ring.

Wilson and Cabrera each had their suspensions reduced by 1 game.

 

Tigers' Jeimer Candelario will starting at 3B after being called up from Triple-A Toledo. Candelario was obtained from the Cubs in the trade that sent Justin Wilson and Alex Avila to Chicago.

 

Cant wait to see him play. Heard a lot of good things about him. Nick Castellanos seen him and requested to move to right field, lol.

 

Tigers simply refuse to score any more runs. Cleveland leads 5 - 0 in the middle of the 5th inning.

 

Tigers break thru with a couple of runs but still drop the game by a 5 - 2 final score.

Its been announced that VMart is done for the season do to a heart condition.
