Or better yet, just ignore him and his posts. Trolls only grow when you feed them. SPress needs to go on a diet.
I don't have a feud with anyone Joe. That's not my style. Now if sometime has a feud with me without my knowing, that's an entirely different thing.
I think the Bears go 7-9. 2-6 with Glennon before the bye. 5-3 with Trubisky after the bye. Fox gets a one year extension keeping him from being a lame duck next season but also keeping the pressure on to turn this team into a winner in 2018.
Don't worry BWW they won't offer an extension to a guy after only three wins so you'll be back to make our lives miserable. BTW did you see the one vote where idiot that said the Bears will go 16-0? What kind of shit is he on?
If Fox could go 16-0 with THIS team he deserves not only an extension, hell he'll deserve a bust in Canton.
In all honesty my biggest fear right now is the defense improves to a point they can win some games by themselves and Glennon either gets hurt or actually performs well enough that this team surprises people and wins 8 or 9 games and we are saddled with Fox for another year or two. I want to see this team win every Sunday and I will never, ever root for a loss. But I know we aren't Superbowl bound. And I'm rather certain Fox isn't the coach that will be on the sideline the day we do get there. And something tells me that snagging Jim Harbaugh away from Michigan wouldn't be impossible. I'd love to see that happen. I don't want to see them lose......but I don't want to see Fox retain his job. Here's hoping the Cubs play deep into October and the Blackhawks play well enough to keep me somewhat distracted from what could be a really frustrating Bears season either way.
I don't want to see them lose......but I don't want to see Fox retain his job. I'm with you on that, I do believe that front 7 have improved sooo fucking much from 2 years ago, but depending how the secondary responds and injuries who knows. Then there's McPhee again with the same story as last year another scope because the scope last year worked so well. Just cut that fucker off at the knee and let him hop around out there, or be done with him because I am.
Snagging Harbaugh away for the 2018 season is about as likely as the Bears going 16-0 this season. I'm not the biggest CFB fan but it has been pretty well documented the effort he has put into restocking the cubbard at Michigan. I am not saying he won't eventually come back to the NFL just not so quickly. He is young enough to create a legacy at Michigan and still have enough time to come back to the NFL a la Pete Carol.
It's already pretty well known he has the Bears coaching job at the top of his wish list. He was a realistic possibility before they hired Fox. Based on looking at the roster he has at Michigan and looking around the rest of the Big 10....he's unlikely to have a great season this year or contend for a title. It's a long shot his team can top Ohio State. Add to that the Bears have his old DC already in place along with possibly a good young QB to work with.....the idea is honestly not that far fetched as you think. Not saying it's gonna happen....but it's not unrealistic.
I want Harbaugh as the next Bears HC just as much as the next guy. But outside of a major scandal at Michigan it's not happening next season. Despite needing to overhaul the roster most experts still see Michigan being a force in CFB this coming season. They will have some growing pains but I find it much more likely that Harbaugh sees things through and builds on what he has started than ditching one of the most prestigious jobs in sports for another crack at the NFL so soon. If your really set on Fox getting replaced next season I would add some names to the wish list.
College coaches notoriously leave their programs for better opportunities in the NFL or a bigger program, sometimes even days/weeks after signing extensions. If Fox gets fired, regardless of what happens to Michigan this season, Harbaugh definitely gets interviewed and I'm certain he would strongly consider the opportunity. I don't think Fox gets extended, my fear is that he doesn't get fired and we're stuck with your boy for another year.
