On Saturday the Vikings announced that the club has signed free agent RB Bronson Hill, and waived (injured) RB Bishop Sankey. Hill (5-10, 215) joins the Vikings after finishing the 2016 season with the Jacksonville Jaguars and being released on May 1, 2017. The Grand Rapids, Michigan native ran the ball twice for 11 yards in the three games he appeared in for the Jaguars. Prior to his stint in Jacksonville, Hill spent the 2016 training camp with the Cincinnati Bengals.
Is that me you are talking about or someone else in a yearly league. I took Cook at 4.1 in our dynasty start-up.
I doubt it was you, Joe...but honestly I'm in too many leagues to be for certain. I just know I seen him go quickly in more than 1 league. Wish I could remember, but it probably doesn't matter anyway and more than likely was a common yearly league on NFL.com or CBS... something like that.
Laquon Treadwell back to practice, learning how to “be a true receiver” Vikings wide receiver Laquon Treadwell‘s attempt to improve on a disappointing rookie season took a hit in one of the first training camp practices when he injured his hamstring. Treadwell missed more than two weeks as a result of the injury, but has returned to practice in a limited fashion. That will give him a chance to continue work on sharpening his technique. On Tuesday, Treadwell said he was always talented enough to win battles with opponents at lower levels, but has learned that he needs to do more to succeed at the highest level. “I was good enough,” Treadwell said, via the Minneapolis Star Tribune. “It’s just, when it was time to win at certain points in my route, I didn’t have the formula. Watching [Stefon] Diggs and watching [Adam] Thielen, they were very technical. That’s why they were able to beat guys consistently. I didn’t know how to win. That was my biggest thing: I knew I could win. I just didn’t know how. I spent a lot of time learning how to play — be a true receiver, instead of just relying on God-given talent and ability.” Treadwell isn’t the first player to learn that the things that worked before won’t work in the NFL without refinement and improvement. Some succeed at honing their games while others can’t make the transition happen and it looks like Treadwell’s chances of a better second season will have a lot to do with where he falls on that spectrum. ___________ __________________________ I think Treadwell, if he makes the transition, can be just what the Vikings need to really open up the passing game. I hope during Friday's Preseason game with Seattle the offense works on the passing attack with Bradford. Their first preseason game didn't allow much time for Bradford to put in work and I think he needs more reps with the receiving core he has.
just getting tiresome this up and down the Vikings have high hope's for Treadwell,I just don't know anymore time to SHOW! what you can do
I say get him the ball and see what he can do. They got to target him more often... that's what these preseason games are all about. Diggs and Thielen are locks and J.Wright along with Michael Floyd are proven also. Treadwell is still the question-mark, but could turn out to be a stud, but i'd like to start seeing some of that now.
I'm mad and confused how does Tricky Ricky keep his job..this my opinion he hasn't done a very good job they keep on being so so not elite why can't they take the step up?
Murray return to practice Sunday along with Laquon Treadwell... Latavius looked good in the Red Zone.
That's sounds real good cause they had major red zone problems last year, the signing of the gophers qb could be a good thing he was ok at times other times he drove you bat sh*t crazy it was like WTF,but he might be an ok back up
Harrison Smith: Vikings defense 'terrible' vs. 49ers Vikings safety Harrison Smith's review of Sunday night's defensive performance against the 49ers was pretty simple. "Terrible," Smith said, via the Star-Tribune. "You know, we kind of turned it on after we got hit in the mouth a few times. You can't start like that. You can't give up 14 points that easy."
I agree 100% it was amazing how they went up and down the field,it was like whatever they tried it didn't work I don't like this slow starting
Vikings expected to keep Teddy Bridgewater on PUP Teddy's Bridgewater's comeback story has taken another positive turn. NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Friday that the Vikings are expected to keep their on-the-mend quarterback on the physically unable to perform list for the first six games of the season, per a source informed of the situation. The move -- expected to come before teams seal up their 53-man rosters on Saturday -- means the Vikings have not ruled out Bridgewater playing in 2017, Rapoport was told.
Seahawks are finalizing a trade with the Vikings to send CB Tramaine Brock to Minnesota, source says. Hearing its for a 7th round pick...
I saw some highlights of this guy very impressive maybe it lite a fire under Trae Waynes cause your job as a starter could be in danger...look like it could be ok trade for a 7th round pick
