Ha! Changing the name of the arena won't get rid of the Chokeritis that plagues that building. Verizon, CapOne, whatever... the Penz still own that place. At least they got the word "Capital" in there, which should make it easier for the locals. Its like connect the dots or simple word association games.

 

Hockey world mourns as Bryan Murray passes away at age 74...

Former Ottawa Senators GM Bryan Murray passed away at age 74 on Saturday after a lengthy battle with cancer.

“A hockey lifer” seems to be a decent way to summarize Murray’s prolific career in the NHL, though it’s clear that his kindness also made an impact on many in the hockey world. Murray spent 35 years involved in the highest level of the sport, including the 2016-17 season in an executive role with the Senators.

 

i don't think crosby is done yet. and mcdavid won 1 hart trophy. he's got a long way to go to match crosby overall. and with the cap situation the cap situation im sure the oilers will face, how competitive will they be for mcdavid's next 10 seasons?

 

i saw something on espn last night. does patrick kane really make $14 million a season? ouch. i thought it was less. that's a lot of coin. toews is probably close to that figure as well. no idea how chicago affords to keep both players and stay in contention like they do??
