LOL well he's gonna need the money for the future bills of his not-vaccinated kids..... Now we're going to miss the could-have-been, emmy-nominee winning announcing exchanges with Joe Buck that would have gone something like: Joe: Great pass from Glennon, here to break it down, Jay Cutler. Jay Jay: Don't care, Joe *insert smokin Jay meme*
I was actually looking forward to hearing his snark and apathy in the booth. It would have been a refreshing contrast to the Brian Baldinger/Tim Ryan pseudo-macho-enthusiasm or dull, cliche style of Troy Aikmen.
I'm kinda the opposite tbh, i fully endorse this move by the Dolphins. Cutler was never a particularly good listen when he used to go on Waddle & Silvy every week. And that was just for one hour, i don't need to hear him talking all over a game for 3hours and especially not a Bears game. It might be the one thing that makes them worse to watch this season. Personally i don't think Cutler is suited to being in the commentary booth. However his don't give a sh_t, snarky bitch disengaged teenager style of delivery should put him at a real advantage when they begin casting for the remake of the remake of 90210. Hope his agent is keeping an eye out for that one.
By the end of the season, Matt Moore will have outplayed Cutler and the Dolphins realize they will have wasted $10 million.
LOL This is an awesome thread! I watched part of the dolphins pre season game and laughed and laughed. Can you say out of your element? Well plus the drinks at the bar were plenty and good...
