it's not currently. it's from the 1970's and a girl he was seeing who claimed she was 16. the state law says that's statutory rape and she needed to be 18. rose was married with 2 kids at the time.

Bartman gets a real WS ring from Cubs and comes out of hiding to comment on it ! Wow. How did they find him and did they give it to him bc they won? They haven't done much else concerning him since the fiasco happened and escalated. What if the Indians would've won? Then what would the Cubs do then ? Seems odd to give him a ring only after they won and not apologize to him and his family after it happened in 2003 !

Rays third baseman Evan Longoria hit for the cycle on Tuesday night against the Astros at Minute Maid Park. Longoria smacked a two-run home run to open the scoring in the top of the first inning, added an RBI triple in the third, and singled in the seventh.

Needing a double for the cycle in the top of the ninth, Longoria hit a line drive to left field. He tried to stretch it into a double and appeared to be thrown out at second base, as Max Fisher threw to shortstop Marwin Gonzalez, who threw to Jose Altuve. However, the ruling on the field was overturned upon replay review, giving Longoria his double and the cycle.

wow! so an incident rose admitted too from the 70's is the reason why they are now dis-inviting him ? tons of tix sold for this event and bobbleheads made.
