Gillmore won't be re-signed. Too bad because he was pretty good when healthy. Canady was a long shot to make the team honestly. He was already a long shot. These injuries are annoying though
Man I don't know, I think Canady had a pretty good shot to make the team and play. I think he would be more of a bet to make it than Boykin. I'm not sure what other CBs we might be considering here...Price?
I thought about that too, but Boykin is pretty much the only true slot corner on the roster right now. Jimmy, Carr, and Humphrey are all outside guys, as is Canady imo. Although he may have made it as the 5th corner so maybe you're right.
Canady was being talked about in OTA's the way they were talking about Perriman. I didn't see that he was injured, which is prolly why i didn;t notice him at the open practice Sunday. That's a shame and concerning, because Boykin did not look good.
