  1. Corey Coleman can b the next Antonio Brown

You do realize, coming into the league, Antonio Brown had more question marks than an insurance questionnaire, right? He only ran a 4.57 combine/4.48 pro day, 40..not the "burner" he is perceived as being now that he is a professional.

To say ANYONE could come into the NFL and replicate what the top player in their position is doing is redundant...

A more apt example would be:

"Roger Lewis can b the next Antonio Brown"...similar build (Lewis is a little taller and heavier), similar numbers (see below), both from MAC schools, both expected to be drafted in similar area rounds 5-7 (Brown was drafted in the 6th)..

    Combine/Pro Day #s:
40Yard Dash Bench Vert Jump Long Jump 20yd shuttle 3 cone
    Antonio Brown 4.57 (4.48 pro day) 12 35.5 8'9" 4.18 6.98
    Roger Lewis 4.57 (4.44 pro day) 8 35.5 9'8" 4.45 7.50

You should really be more focused on the positives of that statement... like how Ben Roethlisberger is a Hall of Fame QB.

Get over it beach, that was YEARS ago (ok, a year or two ago, but still...)

I think everyone that questioned him in the past has eaten enough crow....moving on

LOL that was SAS two months ago.

  8. Coleman is quick as a cat that will get separation just like AB, they have run after catch ability and both under 6 ft...if the Browns trade down and Treadwell is gone...Coleman should b considered big time

NO more mocks....Wentz and Goff are out of the picture. I think the Browns are targeting a hometown QB prospect, just not the one that get's talked about here the most....Don't be surprised if it's Connor Cook at #32. and I won't be shocked if they trade up slightly to make sure they get him..... Probably with KC to make sure they get ahead of Arizona and Denver....

Conner Cook is Brian Hoyer the sequel.

See, I relate Cook most closely with former Michigan State QB Kirk Cousins. If you like Cousins, you'll like Cook. If you don't think Cousins is worth it, don't take Cook.

This isn't just a homer pick... if they're looking for a developmental QB, it's Cardale Jones.

Please sir refrain from such disgusting talk. :! :! :! :! :! I would not touch Cook with anything more than a late round flyer at best.

  16. I just heard on 92.3 that the Browns ARE shopping that #8 pick. They did mention that if the Browns stay at #8 that they may target WR Treadwell ( the drafts best WR and major need) or OT Conklin from MSU. With Schwartz leaving this also would be a major need.

Man I would love to get our hands on OSU, OLB Lee. He or Spence I believe are Pukesburg bound. Pittsburgh- another lover of Buckeyes, lol. I wonder if the Browns will ever catch on,lol

It's hilarious that the only comparisons to Connor Cook are other former Spartans. lol!

Dantonio must have the blueprint on this QB type is all I can say....

For the record, it was just a theory. I think most know how I rate the QB's in this draft class by now......So don't paint me as the "Connor Cook" guy..lol!...It was not my declaration of what I feel they should do....It was a systematic prediction based on months and months of in depth analytical research as it pertains to the value and success percentages of true franchise signal callers selected at the end of round one, in comparison to the success rates of quarterbacks selected in later rounds...Of course all variables must be adjusted accordingly on a "per round" basis, and(pause)....well..(arrogant chuckle)...I don't want to bore you with the raw data, but suffice is to say, it ALL points to Connor Cook in the late 1st round....

Or maybe it was just a hunch....

I still do think they will go after a QB fairly early in this draft...(within first 2 rounds) Regardless of what Crex would be willing to part with for Cook, or how much he reminds you of other ex-MSU QB's, he is as likely a candidate as any in that late first to 2nd round range.....Not saying he's my favorite...Just that's where he's being projected....

It would not shock me if the Browns are looking at Kevin Hogan in a later round.

Man, it seems like this year, moreso than years past..the off season is dragging on and on. Last year the draft was late and it didn't seem like it took this long.

I think all the bickering has worn on me this year, I just want it to get here.

Also, for the first time, I have absolutely NO idea what to expect. My hope is they take the best player that will work their ass off and be a starter here for the next 8-10 years...Really, that's all I can wish for. I will be extremely disappointed...and maybe "vomit a little blood"..but in the end, even if they take one of these tackles (as long as they are convinced they will be a 10 year starter..I shouldn't complain....but I will, because I desperately want a playmaker that can hopefully move this team away from mediocrity, which is where I fear they will stay, if they continue to just draft linemen in the first and second rounds of these drafts.

  20. TopDawg Legend

I don't want another O-lineman in the first round either, and I don't want Myles "busted knee" Jack at #8.....Unfortunately, the whole world seems to have Cleveland pegged at #8 to two players, Jack Conklin and Myles Jack.....smh.

I hope it's not true on either count....Gonna go ahead and assume Goff, Wentz and Tunsil are gone....If Buckner, Bosa, Elliott and Ramsey are all off the board at #8, I would take Hargreaves over Jack at this point....We can't be the team that takes the injured guy....we just can't....
