Howard impresses at the combine
From nj.com columnist Dan Duggan - Howard had the fastest times among tight ends in the 3-cone drill (6.85 seconds) and 20-yard shuttle (4.16 seconds), which highlighted his quickness and agility. The 6-foot-6, 251-pounder also demonstrated his straight-line speed with a 4.51-second 40-yard dash, which ranked second among tight ends behind Evan Engram's incredible 4.42-second 40. Showing his all-around athleticism, Howard tied for third among tight ends with 22 reps of the 225-pound bench press.
O.J.'s impressive combine confirms our top 5 evaluation of Howard. It's difficult to advocate for a tight end with an extremely high pick but I do believe Howard should be selected in the top 10 picks of this draft and if he were to go to Jacksonville as early as #4 I believe his production would vindicate that high of a price.
