John Ross sets 40 record
From profootballtalk.com columnist Mike Florio - The former Washington receiver’s unofficial 4.22-second 40-yard dash has become official, giving Ross the distinction of being the fastest man to ever cover 120 feet in the stadium where the Colts play. Ross broke the record set nine years ago by Chris Johnson, who parlayed a 4.24-second 40 time into a first-round selection in the draft.
While we're not surprised that Ross was able to break the record, we're disappointed that he could not complete the 20 yard shuffle and 3 cone drills. There's no denying John's speed but I have concerns over his horizontal movement and the ability to gain separation at the line of scrimmage.
