Peppers athleticism vs takeaway production
From draftwire.com columnist Luke Easterling - "Detractors will point to the fact that Peppers only has one career takeaway, an interception that didn’t come until this year’s loss to Ohio State. We heard the same thing about Clemson’s Mackensie Alexander last year. But don’t let a lack of turnover production distract from the traits a prospect brings to the table. A lack of takeaways is curious in both cases, but should only be a small blip on the radar of an entire evaluation.
Peppers is a gifted athlete who can make plays in many different ways. Any NFL defensive coordinator should jump at the opportunity to add his athleticism and versatility to their unit, and his added value as a return man will only increase his chances of making an immediate impact."
