Watson's work ethic is top shelf
From uploadvr.com columnist Charles Singletary - Recognizing certain plays is something Clemson’s NCAA champion QB Deshaun Watson, who’s projected to be chosen in the first round of the upcoming NFL draft, can attribute to his VR training as he spent 40% of his time in the immersive format learning how to recognize and pick-up blitzes. Watson and Clemson took on the University of Alabama in the most recent title game and, when facing the blitz from the defending champs in the final quarter, Watson completed 6 of 7 passes with two touchdowns.
Put this in the plus side of the column when evaluating Watson. It's things like this that keep him floating around the first round for us even though we don't yet consider him a top 32 player in this class. DeShaun has had more movement on our board than any other player with a beginning in the top 5, a middle that sank to 56 and a rebound that has him at 34. DeShaun will most likely be taken higher than that considering the premium on the position but the top of the second is definitely more in line with his projected value than the top of the first.
