I guess that you think that what you present as facts are facts? No, maam, they are your opinions. And keep patting yourself on the back about being "discerning" in what you read and believe. You just have biases against people who do not believe in the socialist policies of the left and seek to put people like us down(or WE as I call them)
Why do you consistently try to guess at what I'm thinking? You have no idea what I'm thinking. You post an entire comment on the premise that you think you know what I'm thinking? C'mon Al, you can do better than this.
The only facts that I offer are when I post from reliable sources like CBC News, the Washington Post and the New York Times. Those are well-researched and proven facts. If you don't agree with that, I'm okay with it. My intention here is to post articles and comments that I agree with and to invite others to read and/or comment on them. Unlike you, I do not have an agenda (nor have I ever) to persuade or influence anyone here to change their minds or views.
When I post my opinion I am only posting my opinions and I don't present them as facts. I have never said otherwise.
I picked those articles about Canada out because you claimed that Canada welcomes all of the Islamic people from terrorist ridden lands. Truth is, as I proved that the majority of them do NOT and worry that Canada is headed for trouble with their increasing Muslim population. You made a big point about how Canada and Trudeau are welcoming them with open arms while white racist America is banning them which is, of course, a lie.
Number 1: You haven't proved anything.
Number 2: Anywhere you go in this big wide world you'll find people who disagree with governmental policy. You can easily find articles that state that a certain percentage of Canadians are anti-refugee. You can just as easily find information that shows more Canadians are amenable to taking in refugees than not.
I do NOT speak on behalf of all Canadians. I do speak on behalf of myself and my circle of friends who share my opinion. I've never said otherwise.
The truth is that like someone opined a bit earlier on this thread, that it was originally intended for open debate on Trump winning the presidency. Clearly it did not result in an open debate. What it became is a hate filled fest for Trump haters to bash Trump and his supporters. A little club of like-minded people with their closed mindedness for all to see.
I think that you call them your "inner circle", huh? Question, in your inner circle, do you have a secret handshake and do you wear special hats?
Very mature of you.
Show some personal responsibility and own what you have written in these threads.
The good news for me is that you do not represent my country and its views despite what you and your pals suggest. I have a lot of friends of all types. We have a lot of different views on politics and argue and kid around a lot. But the animus shown on this thread toward Trump and people who agree with him is pathetic.
Where do you even get this stuff from Al? You make up stuff faster than a kid with his hand caught in the cookie jar. LOL
This is a discussion which invites everyone to present their ideas, opinions and thoughts. You may not like the fact that not everyone agrees with your views but that's tough. Every argument you present, substantiated by good sources or not, has been met and rebutted by other members. That's called discussion. You should welcome the opportunity to present a solid and well thought out argument on behalf of your views. But you don't do you ... instead you resort to condemnation, insults, condescension, bullying and ... it's a funny thing but I've just now noticed how all of those attributes could be attached to Trump too.
I don't think so ...
