Has to be the Morenz Meteor or Babe Ruth of Hockey.......I known for many years that he was known as the Stratford Streak. And thats the only one I've known him to be called..... :D

The NHL grew out of the National Hockey Association, with four franchises from the old NHA forming the new league on November 26th, 1917. Which of these teams was not one of those four?

It seems odd that Montreal had a few teams back then and so did Toronto. I guess everyone that played hockey just flocked to those 2 cities to play.

I do not think Toronto ever had more than one team. They played under different names, but never two teams at one point.

In fact, Toronto was once at risk of losing their NHL team. They were seriously talking of relocating to Philly.

yeah i saw the philly part on here a few months ago. great stuff. see i thought they were competing teams and not the same team or a mixture of failed teams etc.
